In conjunction with Keepmoat New Homes, EHW have prepared a submission to Welwyn Hatfield Council for proposals to redevelop a retail and residential estate in an area of South Hatfield.
The proposals include the phased relocation of 18 retail units whilst also maintaining access to various public buildings including a Grade II Listed church. The scheme also provides 56 flats with private balconies over the retail units, 32 houses with private gardens, a new health centre and a children’s play area. The affordable element of the scheme included both affordable rented and shared ownership flats and houses.
The scheme was designed with the Council’s vision in mind with the emphasis on accessibility and sustainability. The presentation will be made to the Council later this month.
